Wow. How atrociously, horrendously late it is for me to be putting my first post up on this blog. I feel like I have finally consummated my relationship with this website though, which is nice.
I suppose I’ll start by letting you guys know what’s been going on in life recently. Really I have no idea what I should be letting you know because this whole blogging thing is totally foreign to me, but here goes.
I had a terrific summer this year; I got to spend two weeks in Florida at The Projects, which was unbelievably cool. I learned a whole bunch of tricks there, which was fun. I then spent the rest of my summer in France, getting loads of time on the lake behind our Malibu. My girlfriend came to visit, as did a good friend of mine, so it turned out to be great. Lots of riding was done in those two months.
As it stands, I’m back in school, which is reasonably. I’ve started the International Baccalaureate program, which means that my life has been inundated with work, although I’m still trying to get as much riding in as possible. It’s going pretty good, too; I’ve been getting out to Leo’s place (Wakeaholic, check out their website) once or twice a week minimum, which is enough to keep my riding consistent, although I’d like to be going more. I’m having the time of my life doing it though; I truly am passionate about this sport I doQuiksilver have been cool as ever, setting us up with gear, 2010 gear from Island Wake should be here soon, and Skullcandy have kept me decked out in some siiick headphones, so in terms of the benefits my riding is bringing I’m loving it too.
On another personal note, I celebrated my first year with my girlfriend the other weekend! She’s really awesome, and I’d say I wish you could all meet her but then you’d all be really jealous of me.
