back to civilization for an afternoon to dry our wet gear and get some internet. the last couple days have been wicked. did some serious filming at the main park at the remarks (bs 1, bs3, bs5, fs3, fs5 and fs7 as well as some kick ass jib shots. andrew did a fs board on the biggest down-flat-down box i have ever seen) and in the evenings after shredding we went camping. also got some fishing in! off to snowpark.nz and hopefully wanaka for some heli shred the next couple of days….oh, and jetboating as well as bungee jumping is coming up too!

doing some riding at the remarks the next couple of days. today we where filming in the main park. pretty amazing (with huge kickers and funny jib features) and olli got the shots. all of them.

wow. what a trip…plus i had to drive that monster van for 4 hours…on the left side…which is the wrong side for me queenstown is crazy and today we checked out the remarks. amazing parks (3! easy park, pro park and the stash park) but i officially sucked riding today. we also could check atsushi and martin (both visited us in china before for the nanshan open) doing their runs on a comp that happened there today. still looking for a place to park our camper van…tonight we sleep in front of a friends of ollies house…more shredding coming up in the next couple of days!

olli got our campervan today and we are just loading it up with everything we have to bring for 12 days on the road (and other stuff we for sure don’t need). stoked, that is going to be fun! updates from the road as soon as we can “steal” somebody’s internet…hehe

shopping for the trip. most important ingredient: beer. i was into speights but olli said only farmers drink that one. whatever hehe

we just came back from a 2 day trip to mt. hutt where andrew (quik china teamrider from back in the days) now works as a parkshaper. the mountain and also andrew hooked us up royally with free tix and accommodation. we haven’t been sooo lucky with the weather though…still no blue sky for us and lots of whiteouts…but still we had a wicked first day jibbing with andrew. weather forecast says blue skies for next week :). tomorrow we will get our camper van and we will head down to queensdown to check out all the ski resorts down there. 5 boys in one van…that is going to be one dirty 12 day trip

finally got some sleep yesterday. we fell to bed right after dinner yesterday and slept for 12 hours straight. nice. olli brought us to porter  hights today for some shred. porters is the nearest ski field from christchurch, 3 drag lifts ;). mt hutt (where our boy andrew works) was closed cauz of strong wind…honestly…porters is not the bomb (or it was not today) but as a first day shred to get back into it was PERFECT!

tomorrow we will finally hook up with andrew…can’t wait to see the small boy!

olli made us lunch...chips sandwich? weird. but good! hehe

it cleared up in the afternoon a bit. pretty sick view but did not get that cauz i tried to get my face into the shot too. wicked.

14 hours to aukland and then another 2 hours to christchurch and here we are now. wicked. fresh air, nice ppl and LOTS OF SNOW! tomorrow we go shred mt. hutt and hook up with former quik snow china team member andrew. going to be fun! for today we are EXHAUSTED cauz we did not really sleep on the plane (digital tv and over 200 movies! that was fun but not too smart i guess). 40+ hours awake now…having dinner at ollis parents place (mum is cooking) and after that straight to bed!

2 snowjkts - check, snowpants - check, tons of snowsocks - check, 2 goggles and sunnies - check, panties (yes i wear panties hehe) - check, board bindings and boots - check, sleeping bag - check, gloves x2 - check, beanies and faceguards - check, back protector - check, avalanche transceiver - check, hoodies - check, boardshorts (in case we hit up some hot springs, which we hopefully will!) - check, trainers - check, lots of cables for all the electronic devices that apple made me buy - check, knee guard - check, tees - check, my amazing quik underwear that keeps me dry - check, book for the 14 hour flight - check, screwdriver - check, toilet bag - check, presents and hook ups for andrew and all the ppl that hooked us up (a huge bag! just u wait andrew…) - check.

that should be all i hope…so now…how do i get all that stuff in a bag and most importantly…will my luggage be hopefully overweight? 21 days on the road and no washing machine…that is going to be one dirty boytrip
